The Torah has 1,234 members; of which are 390 active. The drop outs are potential Lyceum recruits. I propose the following operation:

- The vB software allows you to send emails to users who check this option.

- Exploit this opportunity (via a sock puppet) to invite all inactive Torah members to The Lyceum.

- Send emails only to members who have actually posted. Don't waste your time with the spam bots.

Someone with access could scroll through the memberlist....

Brother447 has an account. Another brother has access via RepealThe17thAmmendment's account.

Yes I have access, but repeal is my friend, so I don't want to fuck it up. I merely browse with it.

Bump.

I edited the post. We need a sock puppet for this operation. I don't want to alienate anyone else.

Every private message notifies the person with an email.

You can send mass private messages, for those who disable email. Mass pm is very effective. 90% of my scopevision members have been recruited that way.

I have an intact sockpuppet, "Dave". But I forget the password and email I used to register with!

Yes, but ...

1.) If you start sending out shitloads of PMs, the admins/mods there will probably catch you before you can finish.

2.) If the account is inactive, the individual isn't reading the PMs, but might open up a curious email.

3.) I think we should email most of the inactive accounts (the non-spambots with more than 1 post) and PM good inactive posters like Prodigal Son and Micaelis.
