We need to be more subtle and indirect in our moves against The Torah.

I agree, i think we were unwise in using dr g.'s account along with that of beria's brother for our last efforts, we need to concentrate on winning members over and further showing how powerless and incompetent the torah admins are. But pornspams have lost their appeal and are ineffective and don't send any message across. Any suggestions ?

Always keep the goal in mind. Ask yourself: does this accomplish anything? Does it weaken or strengthen OVERWATCH and The Torah?

I think we need to adopt a 'snake in the grass' approach. Let things return to normal. Give them a month off. Feign annoyance in public that Torah members are perpetuating the soap opera. Focus instead on making quality contributions to the board and bringing new people in.
We should plan our next attack very carefully. The last one was uncoordinated. We need to be more subtle and indirect in our approach ... use ciphers to wreak havoc over there. Undermine the pillars. |

I agree that we didn't do everything perfect, on the other hand, sometimes if you don't take a few risks, the opportunity slips away.

Fade is right. The last attack, while certainly providing us with a great deal of information and an invaluable invasion of the security of mind of the Torah staff, nonetheless had its apparent problems that need to be resolved.
Taking a month off from the internet drama to develop our board further might not be a bad idea. We can't afford to come off as antagonists; the seeds for the Torah's own destruction have already been planted. We need to take a step back, let things play their course, and intervene when the opportunity arises and indicates that doing so will be advantageous to us AND destructive to them. We can take this time to think and plan alternative plans of attack for the future, and lay out the details to make sure the same mistakes that happened last time don't happen again, and prevent any other possible ones. |

They are agitated right now. If they are not allowed an outlet to vent against us, they will turn on each other, which is what we want. Every action of ours should be aimed at splintering and undermining their membership.
The internal logic of that forum will work itself out to our advantage eventually. Our primary task is to create a compelling alternative. |

This is an extremely hard rule to follow, but an eminently wise one. It's always best to err on the side of keeping quiet.
Law 4 Always Say Less than Necessary When you are trying to impress people with words, the more you say, the more common you appear, and the less in control. Even if you are saying something banal, it will seem original if you make it vague, open-ended, and sphinxlike. Powerful people impress and intimidate by saying less. The more you say, the more likely you are to say something foolish. |

We have all the time in the world to plot their destruction. I think we need to spend more time planning these operations. A surgical strike would work better than carpet bombing.
Here is JW Holliday's strategy: polarize, inflame, exclude. I have seen countless examples of this. Everyone has a button. A 'free speech' messageboard is notoriously vulnerable to this sort of subversion. |
