The Phora map does exactly what it says on the tin. Frappr provide a map service for groups and communities to generally get a handle on where the other folks live. Now I know some of you will not want to join in this for obvious reasons and that's fine.

If you DO want to join in, just indicate your town/area, obviously, don't pinpoint your actual house. Unless you're stupid. Although it just puts a marker in your locale, not your name.

It's just a bit of fun and I can quickly delete it if nobody's interested. So where's your little corner of the world? - http://www.frappr.com/thephora

I just put down my city and it randomly placed my arrow somewhere within the city. Upon closer inspection, I'm at Olathe North High School. I went to Olathe South. Olathe North is the ghetto school! :p

I added a description to this map and Leif Ericsson has talked to a girl who found out that map randomly on the chat there, that may be a way to attract more new people to The Phora.

We only have 20 members who signed up there so far. Please take a minute to join in for those who haven't yet.

Thank you.

Thanks for bumping this during my absence. And thanks for those who added themselves. I'll still keep an eye on it, but it seems you don't have to take care of it so much anymore once you have set up it correctly.

We're starting to be quite a nice crew !

How do you find what ? I don't get it, there's the link of the map in the original post.

Seriously, this thread is 3 years old and I haven't been there since two years. No idea if I can edit for those of you who've moved out of their previous place.

I see that I registered for this map during a brief period in 2006 when I was posting as "Old King Log."
