Thanks to Ix, we have a lot of old threads, and hopefully someone took his advice and used HTTrack. Of course, no one will want to spend the time rebuilding old threads just to see them get wiped out again. Improve security, someone!

It hasn't made me want to give up on The Phora, but it has given me a very cavalier attitude when I post. Odds are, that post won't be there forever, so what the hell? It's actually fun.:)

This monster has now taken on a life of its own. 118,000+ posts in eight months. It's hard to believe that merely a month ago we were hovering around 570 members/84,000 posts. The Phora has crossed the event horizon that separates small forums from medium size ones. It has been an eventual year in cyber history: Original Dissent is dead, The Nordish Portal imploded, Linder disappeared leaving VNN Forum in disarray, Mynydd rammed Stirpes into an iceberg, Sleazy is stagnating. The forum gods have smiled wisely upon The Phora so far in 2006.

In a week or so, the long awaited moment when we crack the Top 5 of race-related forums will occur, knocking Original Dissent down to #6. We're growing twice as fast as VNN Forum and three times as fast as Blood and Honor. In fact, we are already growing faster than Skadi too. The most impressive fact about all of this has to be that our little forum with its 300 or so active members pulls about a quarter of Stormfront's monthly traffic and that site has almost 85,000 members. :p

It's not really fair to compare The Phora to these other sites. We're more of a general discussion forum, but the vast majority of people who post here are racialists, so I guess it is somewhat valid.

No kidding. But I do think The Phora needs to recruit some more people from across the board. Don't want it to end up like a small stormfront with less moderation. Need to even the balance with more Commie's, radical negro's and such. Always fun. I never understood though why The Phora always went offline for such long periods of time after hacks. If you guys need help with hosting or security/backups, etc let me know, I've been running online businesses for last few years with some decent success and would be happy to help.
