Superficially enjoyable. We'll see if it's memorable enough to return to in the next few days.
Forgetable. The strong rock-ish jazzy feel just makes it different, not better than other stuff, and gets obnoxious after a few listenings. Every song on the album (Torn Between Dimensions) also follows a fairly predictable pattern while not really going anywhere. One step above more popular prog stuff, but it's probably getting deleted from my hard-drive nevertheless.

Vivaldi is supposed to be passionate yet soft, and all-around very playful, even where he is dramatic. This is all too damn smooth, it comes together too nicely and feels completely unified; the Four Seasons should sound as if each instrument opposes one another, providing contrast. There is none of that here. My only objection to the non-Karajan version I've heard would be that some pieces feel as if they were performed entirely staccato, but I'd take that over this basically passion-less and dead performance. :(
