I myself am Spanish (with absolutely no Injun blood) and most (5/7) of my brothers and sisters possess light skin, regardless of the season, though our parents have pretty dark skin throughout all times of the year and undoubtedly have quite a bit Moorish blood despite the fact that most of they're children look quite white.

Most northern Spanish haven't had their blood mixed with muslims while the occupation for several centuries. Then they are white, those in the south are darker and I don't think they can be considered as white. These type of threads are at this point really boring. There are a zillion places where all these urban myths get dealt with. The population of hispano-Romans (plus the visigoths) living in Spain in 711 was around 4 million. About 100.000 Moors went into Iberia and took over the ruling class positions. When we hear "Moorish Spain" we are quick to overlook that the bulk (95%) of those "Moors" were nothing more than converted Iberians, not Morroco comming over to live in Spain. Was there race mixing? I bet there were..well...I´m most certainly sure. For one thing the Visigoth noblemen who did not want to loose their power and lands happily converted amongst the firsts and went on intermarrying with the Arab leadership (not the Berbers).
We always hear about what a "golden age" muslim rule in Iberia was but few tell you about how heavily racialy everything was divided. Arabs, the big shots, did not like watering down their heritage for all the gold in the world...Berbers, the initial troops of the Muslim take over..no one wanted them and they ended up building their own Taifa Kingdoms within Iberia. Slavs..Arabs imported thousands of Slavs from Russia via the Caucasus as elite troops to counterweight the Berbers.

All in all I believe the mixture % is about of a 3% for Iberia, which is laughable. This figure would have been higher no doubt if Philip II and his son did not veritably ethnically cleanse the mass of the "Moors" that stayed on after 1492 out of fear them cooperating as a fifth column for the expanding Turks.
