One thing is certain. You cannot be a devout Christian (although I suppose you can perform Catholic rituals like Hitler and say you are Christian) and a national socialist at the same time. The two ideologies most certainly do conflict. "Positive" christianity is not christianity, simple as that.

Has anybody read this book? Is it a load of nonsense or can it be substantiated at all, i.e. is it 'Dan Brown for those interested in the Third Reich'?

I'm with you on this. I hate authors that mix a little truth and a lot of lies and market it as literature. Dan brown is terrible about this, Michael Crichton does this sometimes, and it's always irritating because people talk about the "facts" in the books as though they were actual facts.

A lot of the views are critical of the book's veracity, but for less than £6 I couldn't resist!
