If it had been a "normal" overnight riot of the kind which occur constantly in European cities (there was such an event in Birmingham just last week), then nobody outside of France would have heard of it

In the U.S. we get riots...but only over a hockey team or football team, or some damn team of some damn sport winning or losing. Tends to be because everyone is drunk and then the tear gas flies and everyone runs for it. Although there were a couple of race riots in the 90s in L.A. I just don't hear much about anything like that anymore.

It sounds perhaps strange, but the most terrible action which could taken by the french brotherfest is able to be. The one always ' says pursue ' in real once at ' doing '.

But or as follows: No fire foundations, riots, police force and media-attention anymore. All Algerians, Moroccans and other non-Frenchs are going to be selected in working teams with the indigneous French.

These teams will tidy up the slums of Paris and make a quota notes of the number of non-French that comes into France each year.

The existing number of non-French will be reduced with 66%, and returns to country of origin, c.q where the cradle has stood to in four generations. Only the last 2 generations becomes as a matter of fact obliges return, the older generations can visit the tidied up neigborhoods and to remain or get their pension.

The borders are repaired in honor, and the working-teams will also be relocated to their mother countries look for work if useful work can be performed. Particularly that task will lie in pushing back the power of the multinationals and the NON governmental organisations (NGOs, rich company's.) which in fact all have those enormously rich countries in their control!

It also says that citizens of France for growing violence blame unemployment and racial prejudices.

Downtown Paris is the 'heart' of France for more than 500 years. If the riots occure there, then the Police-forces have no other choice than shooting with live ammo. If barricades are builded by the Rioters, than gunships have to bomb them. If goverment buildings will be looted or damaged, than the Navy has the right to shoot them.

Today’s issue of local paper dealt with Paris riots.
The main tone of the article was justification and causes of the riots.
Of course, it is whitey's fault, who kept foreigners and their neighborhoods
in discrimination and isolation.
Everybody is target of the author, from French government to local shop owner,
while the mob and riots are reasonable and justified reaction caused with
social status and discrimination.

Let's remember that France has had to deal with this situation before, in Algeria back in 1954

And the French dealt with it the way folks here want Chirac to deal with the present disorders, with extreme force.

And this policy was very successful, at first

However the rebels - defeated on the streets - simply went underground, and began pleading for international assistance, claiming they were victims of nasty French "racism"

And sure enough, the Russians, Americans and others believed this nonsense, and began supplying the brave Arab "freedom fighters" with money and weapons. The US also threatened to wreck the French economy over the issue

And so, despite winning all the battles, the French were forced to leave Algeria

Now, what guarantee does France have that the events of Algiers will not repeat themselves in Paris?

Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin said Tuesday that France faces a "moment of truth" in fighting racial discrimination that has inflamed tempers in suburbs with large immigrant populations. Speaking to a special session of the National Assembly called to address the wave of unrest, Villepin said France faced a choice between "division or coming together."

"We must be lucid: The Republic is at a moment of truth," Villepin said. "What is being questioned is the effectiveness of our integration model."



Villepin apologized for a recent incident in which a police tear-gas bomb landed near a mosque, adding to ill-feeling in poor suburban housing projects where many Muslims live.

He acknowledged that jobseekers with foreign-sounding names were not always given equal consideration with applicants with traditional French-sounding names when they presented their resumes.

The minister said a return to calm was the "absolute priority" after the violence and arson across the country, but urged lawmakers to read the incidents as "a warning and an appeal."

"The struggle against all discriminations must become a priority for our national community," he said. "They are a reality today for all the inhabitants of troubled neighborhoods when they look for housing, a job or even when they want access to leisure activities."

Villepin said discrimination is a "daily and repeated infringement of our national ideals."
