I am a fashion fanatic. And I love unique styles that are not just fashion but are also carried with an air of fashionable lifestyle.

So recently I saw this fashion special where chicks are now starting to get into that whole "Victorian" dress thing. I thought some of ya'll might find this fascinating too. They are doing the dresses and everything but now modern fashion allows for so much more than simple corsets.

Chicks are getting thier ribs removed to enhance this style! The tiny Victorian waists of before are greatly emphazied with this additional angle to it. I'll try to find some pics to illustrate what I'm talking about.

It's incredibly classy! But... extreme, I'll admit.

From chicks getting surgeries on their toes for stillettos to ribs removed for Victorian fashions... when is it going too far in your opinion?

Also in this thread I want to hear about other fashionable styles ya'll find interesting.

I love the Cab Calloway type suits styles with the watch on the chain elegantly swinging as you walk... I love that shit!!

Those people into swing dancing have some fabulous styles going on there, too!

Militia looks are hot to me...

Punk will never die and punks chicks rock fashion like nobody's business... I can go on.

Malcolm X wore suits like this... he was known for exceptional style for such a masculine man... he always had impeccable taste!
These suits were so well done, even wealthy people usually only owned 2-3 of them... but so classic!!

I have a fluffy cossack one, too and a grey fur jacket. I am most interested in bags, shoes, coats and hats lately. My favourite is my fur jacket and cossack hat and little white mittens and of course awesome boots or shoes.

Now that's elegant! Women had some beautiful physiques in this era!

The hourglass figure..one of the most notable trademarks of feminity... and it's almost extinct.

We miss them sorely but then we wonder why in the face of all this fad starvation...
