Hessians by definition qualify as a distinct tribe and are a valid separate culture. Every European Romanticist metal music thread has been inundated with insidious, opinionated, contrarian flatulance without any consideration for the posted content. Metalheads need their own discussion space, a private forum that is not pop culture.

It's called ANUS, innit?

To my knowledge, ANUS contains a philosophy information website, not a message board. You have at minimum five dozen, thirty score and six Phora Hessians. I would really like to know what other unapologetic European Romanticist art besides the worthwhile metal bands exist today with both young generation and "old school" attendants.

I'm sorry - how many metal heads are here at the Phora? ANUS had its own message board, once upon a time.

This non-responsiveness is a tu quoque.

If you make one, they will come. :p

There should definately be a forum for people to discuss modern music that isn't 'Pop-Culture' or 'High Culture'...especially for a genre like metal that can fit into both.

If you build it, they will come.

Sorry, I've got a thing for J.E. Jones.

The private Hessian forum sounds like a good idea to me :viking:

Those of us here that like metal of a non-populist nature share this common bond, though we may have slightly differing political ideologies. It would be nice to discuss things from a metalhead's perspective without people jumping in to say "oh black metal is awful, listen to nine inch nails and aerosmith instead, blah blah" or some other sort of contrarian flatulence

Sorry, I don't mean to be :deadhorse: even though deadhorse is a good band.

I am mystified as to why metal is classified as music.

I don't see a reason why metalheads should have their own subforum in a place like this...
