What is the reality "on the ground" in France? Are French people waking up to the racial crisis that is overtaking their country (as Le Pen has stated) or are they, by and large, considering these events through a comfortable, Marxist prism that attributes any and all civil unrest to "discrimination, unemployment, and poverty?"
I'd appreciate any insight you guys have...especially Charles Martel and Ebusitanus.

I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle. More and more people see what is going on, that is true, but it is dangerous to be too optimistic: still A LOT of people see things the PC way. We are growing, but not fast enough at this moment, I hope that gives you the explanation you were looking for.

Thanks for your insight.
I know that people in Europe tread lightly, on account of "speech codes" and whatnot...hence it is pretty difficult to get a gauge for what popular sentiment is from across the ocean.
A rather interesting phenomenon is taking shape here in America: The NeoCons are by and large openly stating that Muslim immigration is a security threat to the European nations...as the philo-semitic NeoCons exclude Muslims from their diversity-mongering agenda.

Monsieur Atlas is a Frenchman, maybe he can tell of his experiences regarding this unprecedented, ongoing quasi-bongoid storm.

Ironically, these riots involved mainly arabs and negroes, I mean those jackasses burned out their neighbor's cars. Except 2 men beaten to death, most of the wounded are non-white... Le Pen, if you ask me, he is a marxist. But well still better than Chirac I guess. That last one, in his speech two days ago said that the French are responsible of what happened in the French suburbs because of segregation for jobs etc... which is a complete non-sense, because most of the arrested were underage boys that wasn't even know by the cops.
