1 Week Bans are sufficient as Warnings

Why not ? I think this is a good idea. A month is a bit over the top.

In almost all cases, except for sockpuppets, someone's first ban is a week. Second ban is one month, third is permanent.

There should be no need for continuous one week bans. Warnings are generally delivered via PM before the first ban.
