WN position statement 5: The status relationship of men and women

White Nationalism can not progress without a core of universally agreed agreed doctrines, which we accept, codify, and stop arguing about.

I intend to start proposing such doctrines for discussion.

Each thread I start on this subject will follow a similar pattern - a universal principle and a series of subsidary ideas hierarchically and logically derived from it.

I will post a poll with each thread



To begin with:


CONCERNING THE STATUS RELATIONSHIP OF MEN AND WOMEN WITHIN WHITE NATIONALISM



Proposition zero. There is no built in hierarchy of sexes.



Proposition one. Men and women have the same civil rights.



Proposition two. There shall be no legislation to artificially equalise or otherwise mandate the relative status or the relative numbers of men and women within any profession or occupation including government, and there shall be no arbitrary prohibitions laid upon the types of work that either sex may perform.


COMMENT: In practice we do expect most, but by no means all, families to follow "traditional" sex roles, where the bulk of the childrearing falls on women. This seems to be a natural state that many but not all couples prefer. However, the point of this proposition is that this state, if it develops, develops naturally. We don't need laws to confine women to domestic roles only, and contrariwise we don't need "affirmative action" to give them a boost in competition with men. Both these things are simply unjust.



proposition three. Marriage is a contract freely entered into. There shall be no forced marriage or forced breeding. Breaking the marriage contract (eg by adultery) shall entail penalties sufficient to compensate the innocent partner.



proposition four. Heterosexual monogamy shall be the normal form of marriage.



proposition five. Women shall not be drafted for the military defence of White Homelands, though they may fight voluntarily.



COMMENT: this refers to actual frontline fighting, not support roles.

My own take:

More positively expressed, harmony is the ideal and the goal.

Proposition one. Men and women have the same civil rights.Except where explicitly noted otherwise, e.g. as in conscription.

Proposition two. I would go a bit further and call explicitly for the outright abolition of no-fault divorce and other forms of easy divorce. I would also call for primary child custody to be awarded in most cases to the "innocent partner", if there is one, rather than to the woman. Alimony would be affected by this criterion too.

Women shall never be placed in regular combat units, even if they want to volunteer.

I would go a bit further and call explicitly for the outright abolition of no-fault divorce and other forms of easy divorce. Child custody should be awarded to the person who is best going to be able to provide for the child financially and morally, the innocent party in the marriage is also going to probably be the one who is going to be the better role model as proven by the other person's less than honorable behavior, that is the cause of the family break up, but there will be exceptions.

That being said I agree completely with everything said in "statement 5"

Interestingly enough, these propositions are in accordance with the ways of our people prior to the introduction of a male-dominated/one-male-psychotic god religious views of the jews via christianity.

The natural difference between genders was generally acknowledged and life was based on these differences acting in harmony with each other.

It was no more right for a woman's civil rights to be violated than it was for a man's. The supression of women and their natural role in society is unbalanced. Along with the extreme suppression of women in society came a change from celebration of life to a celebration of death. Instead of life being the focus of life, afterlife (death) became the focus of life.
