I don't speak Latin, no one does.The youth hardly attends sunday mass at all as it is let alone if one doesn't understand a word of it.

It's rather trivial and silly issue to bang head over these days.

Im not against the vernacular, thats how the Eastern rites do it. What I mostly favor is returning to the more traditional rituals of the Latin mass.

But the Latin does add a sense of mystery and wonder to the ceremony. And the Latin mass has become more popular among younger believers.
