It's slow at the moment because US Phorans are all off celebrating that strange turkey-sacrificing pagan cult holiday of yours

It's sweet potatoes in syrup. They aren't really yams.

<holds a knife raised in the air pointing downward at the cooked turkey> ya, it's a wierd ritual. Now, for the holy cranberry sauce prepared with the blood of native americans :D

Chris

what Keystone basically said, "sweet potatoes in syrup"

It's a great holiday of nothing but food and you pig out. Turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, pie, eclairs, mashed potatoes, candied yams with marshmallows, sweet peas, brocolli and cheese, alchol (or soda if you prefer). Can't forget the shitload of white gravy and enough food to last till the end of the week.

Yeah, it gives everyone a great excuse to stuff yourself like a hog and be lazy. Isn't it said that a lot of people gain something like 10 pounds during the holidays? As if we need to become even more overweight.:p

Due to my excellent eating habits during the preceding 10 months, I can indulge and not worry about gaining the extra weight, which I can work off with a few sessions at the gym if I do gain a few anyway :D (is there a flex emoticon?)

Celebrates the arrival of European "Pilgrim Fathers" to the North American continent and their friendship with the aboriginal natives. That was before Whitey murdered the ignorant savages and pushed them onto reservations.

Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be the national bird of the U.S.A. :)
