I am wondering what is the general thought for Timothy McVeigh and his influence from "THE TURNER DIARIES", leading to his actions on the federal building. Do you consider him a patriot, a terrorist, an idiot, or what? I know I consider him a fallen hero who made some mistakes, he said had he known there was a daycare center with children there he would have chosen another time or place... it is truly unfortunate in that aspect but the government is asking for this backlash in my opinion, with the tragedies in waco and ruby ridge....what are your thoughts on this? How many have read Andrew MacDonald(William Pierce)'s book?

I find it amazing that nobody has ever been punished for Waco.

McVeigh was clearly foolish and misguided, but his anger was quite understandable and legitimate

The government followed protocol and the children refused to leave the compound. What happened was Koresh ordered that gasoline be put around the compound as a defense tactic. However, the police used CS Tear Gas grenades to try and get the Davidians out...well, tear gas grenades tend to spark when they go off. Although Janet Reno was given a mark on her record, it really didn't matter. She was afterall the Attorney General. Who do you think is more important in the eyes of the governemnt? Janet Reno, a person of high power that woudl make it look bad for the U.S. to slander its own high ranking officer? or a bunch of crazy youths whacked out on a made up religion by a guy named David?

Would you have expected otherwise?

None of the above, really. He just did what he felt he had to do, after visiting the burned out Waco compound, and all.(assuming there is not more to the story)

Well McVeigh was getting pay back for the goverment mass murder at Waco, the building he attacked, was attacked because a lot of the feds who pulled Waco where in that building. So they reaped what they sowed. I do not trust the goverment reports about Waco as they are all lying, murdering bastards. When you shoot smoke bombs they are literally red hot and will burn anything. The system also burned Bob Matthews alive.

It was a botched hostage situation, mishandled due to incompetence. Heads should have rolled.

ATF agents are basically policemen with a bad case of soldier-envy, despite the fact that they're neither trained nor equipped for that role

And in Waco they saw an opportunity to live out their fantasies for real...

It was a total failure of discipline and control.
