What is your personal opinion about divorce? Do you agree with the Holy Roman Church that it is impossible to divide what God has united or do you follow the protestant view on it? I know your religious affiliation of course, but I ask about this one specific issue.
Second: if a couple decided to cohabitate without any official marriage, but are faithful to eachother, raise their children together, etc etc, do you think they're living in sin? The ancient Christian doctrin said it doesn't matter if a union between man and woman was officially sanctioned, if they had the intention to live as man and wife, God would know it. Your view on this please.
I did not post this in religion because, while the answer will be one with religious arguments, marriage and divorce are also matters of civil law, and as such don't necesarily have anything to do with religion.
