Le Pen seems to be under attack (http://www.lemonde.fr/web/article/0,1-0,36-715731,0.html) for giving this interview, with all the old accusations of "denial" being dredged up and thrown at him again

He complains on his website (http://www.frontnational.com/accueil.php) that the BBC edited out two of his more important statements:

a) That the FN has black, Arab and Jewish members and activists

b) That he admires the black Archbishop of York who recently criticised multiculturalism in Britain (http://www.thephora.net/forum/showthread.php?p=17082#post17082)

Riots, immigration, holocaust, white supremacy...

He seemed uncomfortable when this interviewer asked him about his old speech...

One thing I dislike about Le Pen is that he " accept " that a black or an arab can be French, as long as they are working and not stir up shit in the country...

In fact, he'd tolerate non-white, but as a small minority.

However, I must agree when he said that France has more foreigner ( = non white, don't be PC ) than any other nation in Europe.

About the next election in 2007, let's see, if this kind of trouble happen again, then he has a chance.

Le Pen has taken the road of adaptation to the current political system and while doing so has to throw some wrenches into the system machine. He does it by clamining he has all those non-whites under his umbrella.

What do you expect him to say, given the past actions taken against him, whenever he said something "we" might have liked?
