I'm sure all the usual intentions will be rolled-out ie; giving up smoking etc. but what are your more unusual new year resolutions for 2007?

I have my plans very organized. These are really not goals, but more mundane changes in my life that we aid in the pursuit of my goals:

- Carry a pen and paper with me at all times, to start writing/recording thoughts for larger articles.

- Limit: fast food and sex.

That would, I'm sure, be a Guiness Book world record fece. For any species. Good luck.

You love it.

The Cubbies and Wrigley are baseball's darlings. If you end up winning, you'll ruin the whole aura.

Shame on you. Has it been since 1908? Christ, that makes the Buccos look good.

I do not make New Years resolutions. The holiday lacks significance to me.

There are particular things that I would like to change about my self, starting ASAP which just happens to be around New Years time. First off, I would like to finish projects that I start. This means to become more focused, to stop fleeting from one thing to the next and to quit drinking so damn often. There are some writings I have to carry on with that have been on hold for a long while, because of hindrances that are now out of my way, and it is like a huge stone barricade has been broken which was trapping me in a dismal area.

I'll try for my resolution to put 200% into my musical abilities and to read a lot more as well as a lot more of philosophical works. To write music, get a new job, and to save my money better.

I made a resolution a number of years back to never bother making another new year's resolution ever again. I am proud to say I have upheld this.

Not the one in your trousers, I hope.

As for me, I'll go with the tried-and-true as God is my witness I've smoked my last cigarette! boondoggle. That's usually good for 4-5 days.

I make goals for the new year, and also take stock on what I accomplished in the previous year.

Usually, I've accomplished a decent amount, but never as much as I wish.

Hopefully, this year will be different.
