I'm already aware of the fact that a few people here play the guitar (which is a common instrument). However it would seem that people who play the classical guitar are as rare as bassoon players. If there are any of you out there that play classical guitar, speak and be heard!

I've been playig for guitar for 6 years (5 of those classical), and I'm about grade 4-5 in terms of level. At the moment I'm playing a Cello suite by Bach arranged for guitar (BWV 1006).

Anyone else?

I never had an interest in gut string classical because none of my fav composers wrote for it. I prefer to play violin and flute pieces on electric guitar; they translate well. I also play right hand piano parts from JS Bach preludes while my pianist friend plays the left hand and harmonizes the right hand.

I too play classical guitar. I own a 1980 Ramirez, model 1A.
