The reputation system is essentially a way of delivering a quick message to the poster, generally to inform him that you liked, or did not like, his post; if you are offended by someone's reputation comment, you are advised to disable your reputation. Staff will only get involved with the repsys if someone is issueing threats or sending links to pornography though the repsys.
