This is the greatest monument in Western Civilization. I loved this place.

PS I also recommend you stay on the Mont for the night because at dusk it's so friggin' gothic when the bells start ringing.

Yes, take a flight to Paris whenever you can, and I'll pick up you to drive around Normandy... that place worth a visit.

awesome, I'll keep that in mind if I ever visit France.I second that! That place reminds of the 3th part of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. You know, when the Orcs were having their last attack on Gondor and the white city; Minas Tirith.

We dont got those places.:( Only the Alamo.

Hurray! Another Texan! Oh wait, you said you were from Texas long ago. Heck, you've got family that were born and raised in Texas. I, myself was the only one in my family born in Texas. Definitly the best state :D

I've toured France, albeit not extensively, and it is by far one of my most valued memories I have. I have seen a few of the structures and places posted, and I must say one has to see them in person to truly comprehend how amazing they really are. Thank you for posting these, they're excellent pics!

oh, Lousianna. That's a crying shame. Will the conasse ever have their day of triumph? On top of that, you're from California...the land of fruits and nuts...that's two strikes against ya. :D

My mistake. I could have sworn that someone else on this forum was from Texas.
