David Irving went to jail because he was stupid enough to go to a country that had a current arrest warrant issued for him.

I just snagged this quote to illustrate how the advocates of holocaustianty blame the victim.

They will do this with news like this as well.

Procecutor asks for 5 years prison for Zundel.

Did Zundel go to jail because he was stupid enough to go to a country that had a current arrest warrant issued for him as well?

The ones who are interested can read more about Zundel trial here:

Please answer yes or no to the following questions:

1) Did Irving willing go to Austria?

2) Did Irving know that Austria had an arrest warrant issued for him?

3) Did the Austrian authorities know in advance that Irving intended to visit Austria?

4) Did Irving know what the punishment was in Austria for the crime for which he was accused?

For the final question, feel free to answer in any way to deem appropriate.

5) Why would any sane person visit a country that had an active arrest warrant issued for him?

I await your answers.

:welcome:

Please answer yes or no to the following questions:

I have done it shorter.

Irving knew what he did. I am not sure if it was smart or not. He did get back lost sympathy, as a lot of people don't like people beeing imprisoned for having another version of a countrys history.

That is David Irving. What about Germar Rudolf or Ernst Zundel?

So you agree Irving was just an idiot - great.

What about Germar Rudolf or Ernst Zundel?

Both missed INS hearings - Zundel is just an nut job - you should be happy he's locked up, he does more harm to the revisionists cause when he is free.

Germar actually had a legal case - his appeal was even remanded by the circuit court.

Unfortunetely, he missed yet another appointment while his case was on appeal.

"Zuletzt lehnte das Gericht alle Anträge (der Verteidigung) mit der
lapidaren - und für einige Antifaschisten im Publikum schockierenden -
Begründung ab, dass es völlig unerheblich sei, ob der Holocaust
stattgefunden habe oder nicht. Seine Leugnung stehe in Deutschland unter
Strafe. Und nur das zähle vor Gericht."

My translation:

“The court rejected all requests of the defense with the short – and for some anti-Fascists shocking – explanation, that it is completely unimportant whether the Holocaust occurred or not. Holocaust denial is in Germany punishable. And only that counts before a court.”
http://www.taz.de/pt/2007/02/09/a0140.1/text.ges,1

You have to believe in the ‘Holocaust’. And you better shut up if you don’t believe in it, else you wind up before a court and will be sentenced. Whether the ‘Holocaust’ happened as the usual ‘Holocaust’ defenders insist or not, is of no importance at all.
