Vindex, the Phora and members` IP details

It has come to my notice that the poster called Vindex may have been leaked details of my IP address by a moderator or administrator on this forum.
I and Evil Rosebuds have never communicated with Vindex apart from through this forum by post or private message, never by e mail.

How therefore would he know that Evil Rosebuds and I share the same computer?

Whether he knows my IP address or he has been told by a moderator or administrator that I share the same IP address as Evil Rosebuds can only come from an Administrator or a moderator with limited admin powers.

Who among the staff has leaked this information to Vindex? It can come from no other source.

This raises serious questions about the safety of our personal details. There are laws regarding the unauthorised disclosure of computer data and I want some answers from you.

My IP address may not have been leaked but some one on the staff of the Phora has clearly disclosed to Vindex that Evil Rosebuds and I share the same IP address. There can be no other explanation unless Vindex has lied.

Weeks ago on a different thread. How strange that an Administrator several weeks later in defence of his friends should make the statement that we share the same IP number, something I never said. And something that was not in his gift to disclose on a public thread.
Sharing a pc at a moment in time is a different issue to the IP numbers that posters register under.
I may visit you and post on your computer but our registered IP numbers at the time of joining will be different.
In view of this I intend to post no further on the Phora. I expect the staff of a message board not to blurt out such details for all and sundry to read.
It is because of his post that Vindex made great capital out of it on the NS and christianity thread 35 minutes later. 4 minutes after Vindex`s outburst SDI locks the thread. What a coincidence!

I remember seeing this line, also, since i posted in the thread that contained this line. My assumption when I read that line was that the two of you were married. If you look in that thread "the nature of the christian heart"(Der Socialist posted a link to the thread in his post) you can see that Vindex also posted a few different times in the thread and it would make sense that he most likely read that line and that is where he would have aquired the infomation.

And there would be no reason why an administrator would be giving information like that to another member. What could possibly be the reasons for that?



As for why the other thread was locked I am thinking that might be because of some of the flaming. I thought about closing that thread myself a couple of times.
