Intelligence is a social contruct

Anyone ever heard the arguments that 'race does not exist', and the 'science says so' spiel? What would happen if one substituted (with other appropriate substitutions) the word 'race', for 'intelligence' (notwithstanding the concept of 'race' often attacked is usually a strawman/misrepresentation).
