Belle-Vue Kriek, this Belgian stuff. It's flavoured with cherries. Nicer by far than most other stuff I've tried. Though to be fair the "plain" Belgian beer I tried a while before was past the best-by date... Should get my hands on some of that and make sure the LCBO isn't stocking expired brew, the bastards.

Anyway: Thanks, Belgium!

I would have expected Canada to have better beer than the US, given that it avoided that insane Puritan Prohibition mania that destroyed the old US brewing industry back in the 1920s

It's better, but still I'm not such a fan of it. Sleeman's Honey Brown is OK, but this stuff is better.
