Jewish Defense League thugs attack Paul Fromm

TORONTO: Paul Fromm is at the College of Teachers hearings today, where the College is attempting revoke his teachers certificate on a series of politically motivated allegations.

Paul showed up this morning at the hearing, and 10 Jewish Defence League thugs were waiting with Israeli flags and offensive placards. Once the JDL recognized Paul Fromm, the thugs attacked!

Paul Fromm stood firm and pushed passed the melee and got onto the elevator. Once entering the elevator, two JDL thugs forced their way on along with two police officers. As soon as the doors closed, one of the JDL hoodlums attempted to choke and assault Paul Fromm.
The police immediatly intervened and pulled the JDL thugs off of Paul Fromm, in the process at least one Police officer was slightly injured.

Two of the JDL assailants were arrested by the Metro Toronto Police Service.

Paul Fromm made it through the JDL mob unscathed and went into the hearing and represented himself with honour, dignity and courage.

Once the hearing started, Paul explained to the tribunal what happened and then they went on break for 30 minutes. During the break, Paul Fromm gave an emotional and insightful interview with Canada's Globe and Mail.

The JDL sounds pretty cool. I don't like the ADL, they are whiny liberal sissies but I think the JDL doesn't put up with crap. They are rough-ridding Jews.So you believe people you dislike should be violently prevented from defending themselves in formal proceedings such as this?

I listened to Paul's SF broadcast last night about this incident. Those Jews, they either are incapable of controlling themselves or they know that the court system will let them get away with this stuff. [or both?]

They attacked Paul right in front of (2) cops. Then, one of them, a woman, assaults a one of the cops, jumps on his back. One of them [cops] even got his hand hurt in the elevator door, that means a lost time accident from work = $$$$.

I guess they did get charged, assaulting a cop, that is no joke. I'd be real curious how this turns out. Like I say, this will be a lost time from work incident....that's not good.

I disagree with them wanting to send Muslims to America out of Israel, but other than that the JDL kicks ass.

The JDL represents normal Jews as much (or rather, as little) as the Klan represents ordinary whites.

They are extremist thugs, as per the OP title.

They even made the ADL hate groups list from what I remember, and that says a lot given the ADL's bias in favour of anything and everything Jewish.

Actually, the ADL conspicuously does not include the JDL on any of their "hate groups" lists (the SPLC, however, does) and the harshest criticism they've ever mustered regarding the JDL is [paraphrased]: ...the JDL presents a "gross distortion" of the real situation of American Jews.

Whatever that's supposed to mean. Go figure.

Sorry, you're right, I may have seen the JDL on the SPLC site and confused them.
