Well , they are sitting down together - what does the future hold when SF/ DUP have to work together.
My own view is that Rev Ian's ego knows no bounds - he had to kill off Trimble to be top dog on the Unionist side and now he is doing what Trimble was prepared to do and what Rev. Ian said he would never do.
All this from the man who wrecked Sunningdale and who did all the raoring over the years.
What happened to "Never , Never , Never!"
Now this is some U-turn, quite a pantomine horse.

No views , anyone ?
I find it decidedly like Rev. IKP that if he made top dog he will be happy to take part.

What the heck was he about for the past 30 years apart from climbing over people to get to be "the man".
What the feck was his constant "no" about - powersharing it has been adviocated and agreeded upon before and lawys , but always Ian has been 2the man" to oppose , kill and say "no" to it.

He claims that the circumstances are different and that he has made SF more accountable and democratic - I say "cobblers" Ian - Trimble and Hume took the major steps and to give Gerry Adams his due he put himself out on a limb as well and had to sell his party's roll to hard liners.

Ian just thumbed his nose , undermined , isolated , scare mongered and moved himself forward.
He had no choice but to be part of change - he put himself in that position - the same position was around at Sunningdale and he killed it stone dead.
There is no way in this wide world that the past 30 years should have been as bloody as they have - I don't see IKP as having made a postive contribution in any way .
Self serving is how I judge him - how his party now act and how SF act - we shall see .

Ian Paisley is uniquely skilled at rabble rousing. Peace in Northern Ireland would have been much swifter without him.

The IRA should have assassinated that old fucker 30 years ago. It would have caused a backlash for sure, but it would have been better in the long run.

Just goes to show "No" can be set aside and " Never , never , never" means nothing if I can be TD.
I wonder what all his fellow DUP travellers really think - having been born and raised on "no".
Are they blind or do they really fail to see that they have been conned by this man for years.

My main worry with these people is that they are psychopaths, that thrive on conflict.

The worst part with these psychopaths,is that even though they are ruthless against the enemy, thay are just as bad for the home side, as they weaken the organization they lead. Their endless vanity and egoism, that they don't allow competitors, and that they surround themselves with yes-men, can destroy a good organization just as well as some enemy.

While the union has been dealt a hefty blow in its Scottish heartland the domestication of strident Irish nationalism is now entering it's final stages. The next phase will be to send in another wave of immigrants in order to complete this multiculturalisation of the region. The whole charade was false, contrived and artficial...
