Harper lays it on thick in front of Zionist criminals, set's groveling record !

TORONTO - In his first formal address to the Jewish community since being elected prime minister, Stephen Harper reinforced his strong support for Israel and its right to defend itself.

“When it comes to dealing with a war between Israel and a terrorist organization, this country and this government cannot and will never be neutral,” Harper told B’nai Brith Canada’s annual awards dinner last week, eliciting a standing ovation from more than 1,000 politicians, businesspeople and Jewish community leaders.

[...]

Harper refrained from labelling the Liberal party anti-Israel, which he did earlier this month in response to Liberal leadership candidate Michael Ignatieff’s comments that Israel’s strike on the Lebanese village of Qana during the conflict with Hezbollah was a war crime.

[...]

“The State of Israel, a democratic nation, was attacked by Hezbollah, a terrorist organization. In fact, a terrorist organization listed illegal in this country,” Harper said, noting that Canada is fighting terrorists in Afghanistan and that police have arrested a group of alleged terrorist plotters in Toronto.

[...]

Harper said that despite Israel’s commitment to fighting terrorism and protecting Israeli citizens, Israel found itself in a war it never wanted to wage.

“[The current Israeli government] wasn’t elected to wage war, but to pursue peace. And this is the great tragedy, because Prime Minister [Ehud] Olmert and [former] prime minister [Ariel] Sharon before him sought a mandate to break the mould and find a new way forward, not to have the same battle yet again over the same ground.”

He said that both Olmert and Sharon have been willing to make “painful compromises for peace. This is the sort of leadership, initiative and commitment that we need and that we have come to expect from the great State of Israel.”

Oye Vey, that's a lot of terror Steve ! :wailingjew: Too bad you got it ass backwards, the B'nai B'rith Brigades you are groveling in front of, they are the terrorists.

This material is from a post by "Angler"..special thanks..

It is in reference to paragraph #3 of post #1, which states;

"Harper refrained from labelling the Liberal party anti-Israel, which he did earlier this month in response to Liberal leadership candidate Michael Ignatieff’s comments that Israel’s strike on the Lebanese village of Qana during the conflict with Hezbollah was a war crime."

Human Rights Watch investigated some two dozen bombing incidents in Lebanon involving a third of the civilians who by then had been killed. In none of those cases was Hizbullah anywhere around at the time of the attack.

How do we know? Through the same techniques we use in war zones around the world to cut through people's incentive to lie. We probed and cross-checked multiple eyewitnesses, many of whom talked openly of Hizbullah's presence elsewhere but were adamant that Hizbullah was not at the scene of the attack. We examined bombing sites for evidence of military activity such as trenches, destroyed rocket launchers and military equipment, or dead or wounded fighters. If we were unsure, we gave the IDF the benefit of the doubt.

The case of Kana shows how this works. After two Israeli missiles killed 28 civilians in a house there on July 30, the IDF initially charged that Hizbullah had been firing rockets from the vicinity of the targeted house. But Human Rights Watch investigators who visited Kana found that there had been no Hizbullah presence near the bomb site at the time of the attack. IDF sources later admitted to an Israeli military correspondent that Hizbullah wasn't shooting at all from Kana that day.

My hat's off to Michael Ignatieff, for having the guts to speak the truth. Not many people in Canada have courage like that anymore.
