Expect this film to last approximately 66 days, with a smell of excrement about it. The lead-role is supposedly gonna be played by an Ethiopian who is going to spend up to 6 hrs a day being painted yellow by the hard working make-up artists. I can't wait, it sounds fuckin' great, doesn't it?

"Can you eat a chicken supper, Bobby Sands? Can you eat a chicken supper, Bobby Sands?

Can you eat a chicken supper, you skinny-fenian-fucker, can you eat a chicken supper, Bobby Sands.....?"

Only a lowlife mocks his betters. Those jokes were tired when they were first launched 26 years ago.

"They have nothing in their whole imperial arsenal that can break the spirit of one Irishman who doesn't want to be broken."
- Bobby Sands

Oh aye, terrible stuff.
About as funny as singing about the Ibrox "disaster".

Still, I know your kind are bred to wind people up.
Wouldn't like to disappoint you :)

You don't expect anything original do you?
That would require some kind of thinking.

Do you even know who Bobby Sands was, McOrc?Yeah, he was a criminal. By-the-way, seeing as he couldn't do his bird and commited suicide - which is against the catholic religion in the eyes of God, where do think Skinny is now?

There's an inner thing in every man,
Do you know this thing my friend?
It has withstood the blows of a million years,
And will do so to the end.

Another film to show the impressionable youth of Ireland.
Can't wait to hear the sectarian, racist drivel from the mindwashed children who see this film.:dance2:

Please explain.

Whether you agree with his politics or not, you'd have to admire his courage and spirit.

What I meant by my comment was that impressionable youths, after seeing the movie, will be lead onto another generation of people who hate the Brits or English.
Personally i have no beef with Bobby Sands(sorry for the pun),but can't see why a movie should be made of his life and struggle.

Sorry,Just my opinion.

What I meant by my comment was that impressionable youths, after seeing the movie, will be lead onto another generation of people who hate the Brits or English. The problem is the unwelcome presence of Britain in Ireland. The reality of that does not depend on whether or not there is a film about Bobby Sands.

People make films about great men because their lives are filmworthy.
