A convinced believer in conspiracy theories regarding Jews and Communists, [Arnold] Leese became the leader of the Imperial Fascist League in 1930, immediately introducing a pathological anti-Semitism to the organization's patriotic authoritarianism. Using his newspaper the Fascist to spread propaganda, he has been likened to 'the nearest equivalent in outlook to an English Hitler'. Leese's final solution for the Jews was to put half in a zoo and exterminate the other half. Indeed so violent were his views that he thought Sir Oswald Mosley's black-shirted British Union of Fascists, which he referred to as 'Kosher Fascists', was a Jewish-backed conspiracy! Leese continued his anti-Semitic ways after the Second World War and became an active influence on Colin Jordan, to whom his widow willed his home in Notting Hill Gate to be renamed Arnold Leese House and used as a headquarters. Like many anti-Semitic 'humanitarians', Leese reserved his pathologically destructive attitude, not for the sick animals in his care but for the Jewish 'race' to be 'put down' as if they were themselves incurable animals. 'A more permanent way of disposing of the Jews', Leese wrote in his paper the Fascist, 'would be to exterminate them by some humane method such as the lethal chamber [emphasis added]'.

In the 1930s and 1940s, people such as Arnold Leese represented the most extreme form of Hitlerism and anti-Semitism. Leese's influence on extreme British Nazism from the 1950s onwards cannot be underestimated, and rivals and eclipses Mosley's. Leese was a man single-mindedly dedicated to his task, producing pamphlets, distributing books, collating anti-Jewish cartoons, offering his home for meetings and producing a crudely reproduced news-sheet called Jew-Wise. (All of these activities were coordinated by the Arnold Leese Information Bureau (ALIB) or Arnold Leese Information Service (ALIS), which continued to produce occasional documents after his death.)
Leese was convinced that all Jews were out to kill 'Goys' and 'gain control over the Gentile' using a communication system based on a 'secret Yiddish cipher'. As part of this takeover Leese (and his followers in the 1970s) believed the Jews had control of the media and were manipulating it to create a new world war from which they would emerge the victors.
I applaud Leese for his audacity. We need more heroes like him and less wimps who are afraid to name the Jew. He simply expresses what I always felt, and which if unrestrained would induce a killing spree right this second.
