Lyrics to Irish Blood, English Heart:
Irish blood, English heart, this I'm made of
There is no one on Earth I'm afraid of
And no regime can buy or sell me
I've been dreaming of a time when
To be English is not to be baneful
To be standing by the flag not feeling shameful, racist or partial
Irish blood, English heart, this I'm made of
There is no one on Earth I'm afraid of
And I will die with both of my hands untied
I've been dreaming of a time when
The English are sick to death of Labour and Tories
And spit upon the name Oliver Cromwell
And denounce this royal line that still salute him
And will salute him forever

Morrissey goes as far to nationalism and political incorrectness as is possible for a mainstream artist, I salute him for that.

You hurt me when you say that, Hermans.

It just sounds like something I imagine Morissey would say.

Lyrics to Bengali in Platform
No no no
he does not want to depress you
oh no no no no no
he only wants to impress you
Bengali in platform
she only wants to embrace your culture
and to be your friend forever
Bengali, Bengali
oh shelve your Western plans
and understand that life is hard enough when you belong here
A silver-studded rim that glistens
and an ankle-star that...blinds me
a lemon sole so very high
which only reminds me, to tell you
so I break the news gently
I break the news to you gently
"Shelve your plans"
Bengali, Bengali
its the touchy march of time
that blinds you
don't blame me
don't hate me
just because I'm the one to tell you
that life is hard enough when you belong here
life is hard enough when you belong here
shelve your western plans
life is hard enough when you belong here

Morrissey is God.
My all time two favorite songs (although I love 98% of all his songs):
National Front Disco
"England for the English !
England for the English!.....
....National
To the National
To the National Front Disco
Because you want the day to come sooner
You want the day to come sooner
You want the day to come sooner
When you've settled the score"
Glamorous Glue
"I used to dream, and I used to vow
I wouldn't dream of it now
We look to Los Angeles
For the language we use
London is dead, London is dead
London is dead, London is dead
London is dead, London is dead."

Morrissey has gone on record to denounce racism though. But I think he is just being PC for his own career's sake. Take note however of his statement in bold. :D I am pissed that he was involved previously with Amnesty International and Unite Against Fascism. But he is likely just covering his ass. It is obvious from his lyrics that he is on the side of nationalism.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morrissey#Accusations_of_racism
Critics of the racism allegations point to Morrissey’s involvement in organizations such as Amnesty International and almost performing at an anti-Apartheid concert.[16][17] Morrissey has also been quoted as saying "If I am racist then the Pope is female. Which he isn't," and "If the National Front were to hate anyone, it would be me. I would be top of the list." Though, he qualified that by saying that far-right rage "is simply their anger at being ignored in what is supposed to be a democratic society."[18]
In 1999 Morrissey commented on the rise of Austrian far-right politician Jörg Haider, stating "This is sad. Sometimes I don't believe we live in an intelligent world."[19] In 2004 he signed the explicitly anti-fascist Unite Against Fascism statement.

Morrissey has flirted with "racism", nationalism and politics in general quite a bit in his career. Along with the above examples, there's National Front Disco, Suedehead, Panic, Margaret on the Guillotine, The Queen is Dead and others celebrating skinheads, attacking politicians, calling for the demise of the system, etc.
There are many fans who disagree and will cite examples of Morrissey not being a "racist" or a nationalist and such but we only have to look at his catalogue and read the lyrics to Irish Blood, English Heart, for example, to see the unmistakable truth.

Some other songs that flirt with nationalism and racism and politics:
"We'll Let You Know", "Asian Rut", "Interesting Drug", "The Teachers Are Afraid of the Pupils".
Moz is one of the few international music stars that really sings about "controversial" topics.
The Clash sang about issues from a lefty perspective, but Moz is more, libertarian, shall we say?

Morrissey seems to be a welcome exception to political discussion in popular music. It seems that most bands (especially punk) out there have a leftist slant to them, it's disgusting. It's rare to see a nationalistic or conservative perspective in music. Music and art in general has a very leftist slant to begin with. So usually whenever a musician gets on a self-absorbed political soapbox, it usually has a self-absorbed self-righteous leftist bias to it.
There is so much leftism in music that I'd wish that music wasn't so fucking political. Even the Pro-PETA stuff in the work by Morrissey and the Smiths gets on my nerves to a degree. You want to save the animals and save the trees, fine, but don't shove it down the throats of us carnivores who wear leather. Though Morrissey and the Smiths are a great band overall and much more decent (with their nationalistic sympathies) than the average band out there (which could be described as self-righteously leftist). Not sure if anyone feels the same way but seriously, whenever I hear some self-righteous leftist artist rant about something, I can't help but think "shut the fuck up with your political self-absorption and just play entertaining music ffs." I have to deal with political propaganda enough in a re-education centre (aka university) as it is so whenever I invest in entertainment (music) to escape from the real world bullshit, I don't need anymore preachy leftist crap. It seems that the perversion of modern art has translated into all art forms in the 20th and 21st century. Art has become about so-called "self-expression" (an act of self-absorption by the artist) rather than the intended purpose of art: to provide entertainment/enjoyment.

I listened to the Smiths a lot back in the 80s.
I didn't stop liking him in the 90s because he went nationalist (or whatever it was), I just got into other stuff even before that started.

The lyrics to "We'll Let You Know". An elegy for a vanishing people?
How sad are we ?
And how sad have we been ?
We'll let you know
We'll let you know
Oh, but only if - you're really interested
You wonder how
We've stayed alive 'till now
We'll let you know
We'll let you know
But only if - you're really interested
We're all smiles
Then, honest, I swear, it's the turnstiles
That make us hostile
Oh ...
We will descend
On anyone unable to defend
Themselves
Oh ...
And the songs we sing
They're not supposed to mean a thing
La, la, la, la ...
Oh ...
You're lonely
Oh ... you're lonely
Oh ...
GET OFF THE ROOF !
Oh ...
Your Arsenal !
We may seem cold, or
We may even be
The most depressing people you've ever known
At heart, what's left, we sadly know
That we are the last truly British people you'll ever know
We are the last truly British people you will ever know
