I enjoy watching historical movies in their "historical" language. Many countries dub movies, which can be useful if a movie is set to play in that country.

So my question is, does Russia dub foreign movies? I would like to see for instance

The Beast of War http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094716/

about the crew of a Soviet tank in Afghanistan, which in english is silly.

Thank you in advance.

Yeah, they're dubbed. Usually in some basement in Podol'sk. I've watched the entire series of Rome dubbed by a male and a female voice with the resolution being at around 320x240. It was a two-sided DVD.
