Two NATO soldiers killed when Taliban extremists :rolleyes: attacked their base in southern Afghanistan were Danes, the Danish army said on Thursday.

A third Dane was wounded in the arm and leg in the attack Wednesday which lasted several hours, the army said in a statement.

The two dead were identified as Mikkel Keil Soerensen, 24, and Thorbjoern Reese, 22, both part of an infantry reconnaissance troop.

A total of six Danish soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan.

The Danish contingent currently numbers around 400 and is primarily deployed in the southern Helmand province under British command.

Including the latest deaths, 175 international troops have been killed in Afghanistan this year alone, most of them in combat operations against Taliban militants.

One of those, a soldier from the separate US-led coalition, was killed on Tuesday in southern Afghanistan during one of two major battles with the Taliban that also left nearly 170 militants dead.

Another NATO soldier was killed on Monday in southern Afghanistan while two Spanish soldiers died in a bomb blast in western Farah province on the same day.

I don't agree with my contry's decision to join the coalition. In hindsight that was a bad choice. Also I see no reason for Danes to die for scum like the Afghans or the Iraqies, who like all Muslims, are stupid primitives, but at least the Danish contingency only has the best interests of the Afghans at heart. Something, no-one can say about the Taliban.

Hopefully, the experiences of Iraq and Afghanistan will teach us, not just Denmark, but the entire West, just how utterly fucking disgusting you people really are.

Because their governments are idiotic, liberal jackasses. However, that in no way reflects my feelings about the soldiers. I surely wouldn't give the death of Danish soldiers a thumbs up...
