Prague seen by study as 4th best place in Europe to live

PRAGUE, Jan 25 (CTK) - Prague is ranked as the 4th best play to live in Europe, daily Hospodarske noviny HN writes today referring to German magazine Manager-Magazin.

The German magazine cites a study of the University of Mannheim in Germany in which Prague was preceded by Paris, Frankfurt and Luxembourg of a total of 58 European big cities put on the list.

Prague beat the capitals of all the EU newcomers as well as London or Vienna, for instance, the paper notes.

Prague got 97 of a total of 100 points for its low living costs, with Paris taking the lead. Prague was listed five points ahead of Frankfurt and Luxembourg.

I agree with Budapest but Prague was quite a disapointment for me when I visted a few years ago. All that talk about Prague and I had backpacked the town up and down in one day. We had thought we would stay there at least one night or two but we left the same night to Budapest as we had seen most of what was to be seen. That lousy currency of theirs we had exchanged in the morning we had to "waste" in some WW2 collectors stuff in some antiquity shop near the Jewish cementery.

I have never been in Prague. Had chance to go there few years ago, but my stupid class mates voted for trip to some tourist half-village in Spain.

ya, in concerning Prague, I heard that it takes pride that it wasn't bombed in WWII, so hence most of the old buildings are still up. Anyways, are there many Turks there just like in Germany?
