It says that Iceland and Albania have the highest birthrates in Europe, Icelandic women have an average of just over 2 babies, while in most other European countries the rate is closer to 1 baby per woman. It also says that Icelandic women are older than they were 30 years ago when they have their first baby.

Good for them.

There are only 300.000 icelanders though. Lenny, care to find out how many immigrants do they have there ? Perhaps that may explain that high birthrate.

Perhaps that may explain that high birthrate. There's currently 15,000 foreigners living in Iceland (5% of the population), the great majority of these being white Europeans. The number of non-European foreigners in 4,500, or 1.5% of the total population

Global warming can only be good for Iceland.

Expect new farm and grazing land to become available for exploitation over the next few generations

Iceland is one of the few European countries which can safely afford a high birthrate

Some years ago I read how the Icelanding Goverment wanted to "import" Morrocan males to offset the population inballance they had with their excess in women.

Visiting iceland has always been a dream of mine. Last place to go Christian, last place to go multi-cult. Possibly the last bastion of scandinavian identity seeing as how the rest of the homeland is turning up.

But look at all those swarthoids in the background...

I do not know how the deal is nowadays but some years back I had several comrades traveling up there to check out the volcanos and stuff and they ended up almost gang banged by the local starved out female population. They also told me that apparently a sizeable chunk of the male population is gay.

Iceland is just another bastion of scandinavian sodomites. It is a degenerate fest and they love their black american soldiers over there.

That's why we're all going, to, errm, convert the women to the good side.

Yeah, that's it. :D

You can come too if you promise not to stab Ymir on the plane.

Yes, please no purges in the plane. At least once landed there are enough volcanos around as to get rid of the evidence.

It is crazy that this mental disease would fry their brains that badly.

This was released two days ago:

Births 2005

Live births in Iceland were 4,280 in 2005. Total fertility rate was 2.1, which is higher than in most other European countries. Turkey is the only country in Europe with higher total fertility rate than Iceland. The total fertility rate has remained relatively stable in Iceland since the early 1990s. During the 20th century total fertility peaked during the 1960s to a rate of 4.3.

In recent decades Iceland has experienced pronounced increase in the age of mothers at childbirth. In the late 1970s the mean age of primparas was 21.3 as compared to 26 in 2001-2005. During this period, age-specific fertility in the age groups under 25 has declined considerably whereas fertility above the age of 30 has increased slightly.

The share of extra-marital births is higher in Iceland than in any other country of Europe and in 2005 almost two thirds of all children were born out of wedlock. The majority of these children were born to parents cohabiting and only 14.4 per cent of all mothers were not living with the child’s father. The share of extra-marital births is considerably higher in the case of first births than with children of higher parity.

What do Scandinavians have against marriage? I've read similar statistics about Sweden.
