What is meant by the term "aesthetic" specifically of course concerning politics and government?
Any what is its connection to Fascism, or the Right?

Well, machismo comes to mind right away. It always makes an impression on many people, even those feminized by a peaceful and affluent urban environment.
We could quite easily classify the gangsta-rapper ideal image of guns, violence and emphasis on virility as ur-Fascistic...
Here is a whole essay on the Fascist aesthetics of "Heavy Metal" from a Frankfurt School perspective:

One powerful attribute of Fascism, though not it's defining attribute, is the aestheticisation of politics. On a trivial level this is manifest in the fetishisation of military uniforms and martial pomp and ceremony, and also in the idealisation of certain racial phenotypes as markers of national identity. At a deeper level fascism aspires to elevate pursuit of uranic/heroic ideals such as national "greatness" (military, scientific and cultural prestige), and beauty - in architecture and great works of art - as national goals, above mere utilitarian economic or technocratic efficiency. It also abandons the socialistic notion of "social justice"/egalitarianism as being an end in itself.
Fascism is basically politics, but with feeling.
