Yeah. That is usually what happens when egalitarian wishful thinking collides head on with racial reality.

Times Online (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/newspaper/0,,176-2025388,00.html)

The government’s race watchdog is to tell some of Britain’s top universities to recruit more black students after “racial bias” was found in admissions.

It says it has collated “alarming” figures from government and academic sources that show “segregation” and a worrying racial divide among the student population in many campuses.

Trevor Phillips, chairman of the Commission for Racial Equality (CRE), has ruled out admission quotas to enforce diversity, but he wants to encourage universities to take “positive action”.

A CRE official said: “If you have a black student and a white student with equal qualifications at the front of the admissions queue, we would want the university to take positive action to choose the black student first.” . . .

If you have a black student and a white student with equal qualifications at the front of the admissions queue, we would want the university to take positive action to choose the black student first - nothing short of racism of the highest order. Didn't Geist say that he didn't want to fill in a question on ethnicity when applying for some position in the UK?

You mean 'positive racism', right?

Bristol, where 0.8% of undergraduates are black, said: “We look for the students with the greatest ability, motivation and potential. Ever since its foundation, the university has had an explicit commitment to equality.”

Durham University, where 0.7% of students are black, said that the level of admissions from ethnic minority groups was similar to those at other universities in the region. A spokesman said the figure reflected the fact that there are fewer people from ethnic minorities living in the northeast.

Gee, I wonder why.

white (English 83.6%, Scottish 8.6%, Welsh 4.9%, Northern Irish 2.9%) 92.1%, black 2%, Indian 1.8%, Pakistani 1.3%, mixed 1.2%, other 1.6% (2001 census)

Phillips blames poor exam results among some ethnic minorities for their failure to get into top universities. The DfES study found that minority ethnic degrees have lower entry qualifications on average and that black students are more likely than whites to get a third or lower class degree.

Let's change the rules.

Let's hope this fad doesn't catch on in the Ivy League. That could end up with a lot of Tribe-members having to look for new schools.

It says it has collated “alarming” figures from government and academic sources that show “segregation” and a worrying racial divide among the student population in many campuses.

So even though people have been bombarded with messages about multi-culti love their entire lives, self-segregation still rears its ugly head. Something must be done. I guess we have to start thinking about diversity when we choose our friends and associates.

Damn racists need to start allowing a bit of affirmitive action in their personal lives.

No two people are going to have the exact same qualifications on every level. It sounds like this guy's idea of "positive action" means descriminating against whites. That is not surprising considering these people must know that without something like that most blacks wouldn't have a chance in hell.

I look forward to the day when I will see a thread entitled "NBA Told: Balance The Racial Mix". I won't hold my breath waiting, though.:222:

This should definately take a hold in the Ivy League. The elite needs to witness what the 'diversification' of their environment leads to instead of sheltering themselves and have the common man suffer while they continue their disastrous policies.

This is when they are "white". When it is advantageous for them to be minorities then they resurface as "Jews". The bastards have it all going their own way. Got to hand it to them for that.
