Fidentia's arrested ex-boss Arthur Brown raped in police van

The married father of 3 -- whose wife and children fled to Australia a fortnight ago -- was unexpectedly arrested last Monday after he had been released on R1-m bail earlier. Apparently new charges of theft, money laundering and fraudhad been added to his police charge sheet.
His lawyer, William Booth, said Brown was now receiving anti-retroviral treatment in a private Cape Town hospital. He and other officers are suspected of defrauding a large number of black ex-mine workers belonging to the Ex-Mine Workers' Union which had invested through Fidentia. Many miners hadd lost their lives' savings, the curators discovered after R630-m Rand went missing from the Fidentia fund.
The curators are still attempting to recover some of the money by trying to sell one of its properties, the New Bay Horizon game-farm, presumably somewhere in the Cape. Read report:

We feel the Correctional Services Department needs to look at its approach to transporting and accommodating prisoners," said the lawyer.
Brown's medical bills were being paid by family and friends. He was not sure when he would be discharged but they would ask the court that Brown not be returned to Pollsmoor prison. Booth said Brown's wife, Susan, who had fled to Melbourne in Australia with the couple's children about a fortnight before Brown was re-arrested, was aware that her husband had been raped. She is also being sought as a more minor co-accused in this case. The Fidentia curators said authorities had however delayed issuing a warrant for her arrest for fraud -- and claimed that she took advantage of the opportunity to flee with her small children.

National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Tlali Tlali said they were taking steps "aimed at securing" Susan Brown's return and arrest. "Extradition is an option, certainly not the only mechanism available," he said rather mysteriously.
During Fidentia's existence, Susan Brown owned the 'Facets lifestyle centre' in Century City, the Sante Winelands Hotel, and the Wellness Spa in Stellenbosch.

The alleged mastermind of the Fidentia scam, Steve Goodwin, also fled just the scandal was unravelling in February last year. He was arrested in Los Angeles in the USA - and the country has asked for his extradiction.
Fidentia was placed under curatorship in February last year.

They should have "gang-raped' him. Not only black but a fast amount of whites lost their pension.
I hope Susan Brown gets "dingo-ed"
