Yeah, we already spend way too much on Public Schools and get relatively little back for the investment. Furthermore, we force homeowners to shoulder most of the burden, which makes homeownership all that much harder. It's a bad direction we've chosen.

What used to matter in Public Schools was Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. Now all that matters is political indoctrination, funded by homeowners, who are coerced/fooled into footing the bill, for the brainwashing of their own children.
