I have, just as you, heard about the supposed jewish average IQ of roughly 115. What I want to know, is how did Lynn and Vanhanen come up with an israeli average of 90: http://www.rlynn.co.uk/pages/article_intelligence/t3.asp

The test used in the Lynn/Vanhanen study was this: http://www.cps.nova.edu/~cpphelp/RSPM.html , 'ravens progressive matices', fully non-verbal.

Jewish supremacy is well alive and kikcing, as evidenced by this: http://www.lagriffedulion.f2s.com/dialogue.htm

Would anyone else accept that the extraordinary score of 115 as an average for a population is almost impossible?

What cause would you attribute to this extraordinary result in comparison to the Lynn.Vanhanen study?

115 is the average for Ashkenazi Jews only, not Jews overall. Sephardic Jews have an average IQ in the 90s. Also Israel has an Arab minority, which lowers the average somewhat.

Israel's Ashkenazi Jews, who constitute the majority of the country's Jewish population (Israel's Jewish population of 4.74 million consists of 1.88 million who are of European or American origin and 1.56 million who are of African or Asian origin),

If that's true, then the average Israeli IQ should be roughly 100. Unless the sephardics and ethiopans have scores in the 60's.

If I'm not mistaken, the ashkenazi figure comes from the Bell Curve. No other research has supported the ashkenazi figure. IMHO, the 115 figure is probably off, I'd say the ashkenazi average is probably in the 100-105 range and like Ahknaton said, the non-ashkenazi jews bring down the overall score.

Why do people put so much importance on IQ scores? IQ is over-rated. I have never taken one myself, it's a waste of money. If anyone has taken psychology (or at least had a good psychology prof) they would know that IQ testing was originally meant to test academic aptitude not intelligence and even then, testing shows that the correlation between IQ and academic performance is only moderately correlated. In the end IQ tests are useless.

I disagree, IQ tests are a reasonable measurement of intelligence
