Question. When did Austria adopt it's law against the rehabilitation of National Socialism? It was part of the denazification program during the occupation, right?

The law against Holocaust denial was created in the 80s

Are you sure about that Ahknaton? From what I've gathered, the law against Holocaust denial was adopted in 1992.

Germany's parliament passed legislation in 1985, making it a crime to deny the extermination of the Jews. In 1994, the law was tightened. Now, anyone who publicly endorses, denies or plays down the genocide against the Jews faces a maximum penalty of five years in jail and no less than the imposition of a fine.
Edit: Ooops, that's Germany. You're probably right about Austria. I guess I just anschlussed them in my mind.

Wasn't Irving charged with rehabilitating National Socialism?
