A bit dated statistics, but interesting stuff nevertheless. As it was pointed out on this thread:

http://www.originaldissent.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3234&highlight=francophobia

Though American elites are often accused of being "out of touch," Jenkins argues that European elites exhibit a far greater distance from their "hinterlands" in terms of outlook and world-view (he suggests that the small size and low number of cultural capitals results in a far greater centralization in terms of elite socialization). Dutch elites in the immigrant filled cities no doubt find it easy to forget that their nation is host to a "Bible Belt" of Calvinist believers. Nations as disparate as Norway, France and Scotland have regions of elevated Christianity commitment.

Largest families in Urk

In 2002 the fertility rate in the Netherlands was 1.73 children per woman. In 1980 this was 1.6. There is a large regional variation in fertility. The difference between Urk, the most fertile municipality and Vaals, the least fertile, is 2.1 children per woman.

High fertility in strict Protestant areas

The most fertile women by far live in Urk: 3.2 children per woman. Valkenburg (South Holland) comes second with 2.8 children per woman. Urk is part of the so-called Bible Belt. The other municipalities in this area are also high in the fertility rankings; Staphorst, for example, with 2.8 children per woman.

Fertility low in Limburg

The least fertile women live in the province of Limburg: in Vaals (1.1 child), and Thorn (1.2 child). Other municipalities in Limburg are also low on the list. Gulpen-Wittem and Maastricht are fifth and sixth from the bottom.

The inhabitants of Limburg are traditionally mainly Catholic. In the beginning of the twentieth century Catholic regions were characterised by relatively large families. Today it is the other way around. Interestingly, this pattern of very low fertility can also be seen elsewhere in Europe, and especially in countries with a predominantly Catholic population (Italy, Spain and Portugal).

Flevoland most fertile province

The differences in fertility rates between provinces are significantly smaller than those between municipalities. The most fertile women live in Flevoland: 2.0 children per woman. Women in the provinces of Drenthe, Friesland and Overijssel also have significantly more children than the national average.

Remarkably, Groningen is the odd one out in this respect: it has the lowest fertility rate after Limburg. Women in Limburg have the least children: 1.6 each on average.

Interesting to compare that chart with this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_the_Netherlands#History

Religious division in the Netherlands by municipality census, 1849. Green areas are Roman Catholics, the Protestants are red.

It's curious how in popular mind, the Netherlands is usually perceived as an almost purely Protestant country while in reality, Prods have always been just a modest majority there, 59,7 % of the population in the 1849 census.

The majority of people is Catholic there now Petr. Your 1849 census statistics may be a wee bit outdated. :p

Thus we can logically blame Catholics for the Netherlandian decadence.

Who do you blame for the Scandinavian decadence, if we were to apply the same logic?

Glad this one was banned... These canned one-liner responses reeked of insincerity. A sockpuppet for sure.

Is that why she was banned? The 'bannings' thread didn't mention her at all.

Anyway, on topic: An article called 'the return of patriarchy' mentioned that in the American 'baby boom' of the forties and fifties 75% of all children were born to the 25% of women who had 4 or more children.

I am concerned with overpopulation, both in the world at large, and in my country (which is a major reason why I'm against mass immigration). Some people have said that falling birthrates means that overpopulation will no longer be a problem, since the populations of many countries (like Japan and most of Europe) are falling. This view doesn't take into account that most children are born to a minority of women. This is evolution -- both genetic evolution and cultural evolution. A culture which encourages its women to have children will outcompete a culture which encourages its women otherwise. For this reason, overpopulation will be a problem pretty much forever (unless some culture that doesn't stress reproduction can take over the entire world and prevent other birth-crazy cultures from getting started).

This also means that the future belongs to Evangelicals, Mormons, and Muslims (because they are the ones having babies). Because of this I have thought about converting to Islam, or Mormonism.

Especially since she was born on the Führer's birthday and was a 19 year old beauty, if we're to go by her pic.

And if anyone of you think Dutch women are ugly????????????????? Think again.
To me they are the most beautiful women out.
This is logic as The Netherlands was created by The Dutch not God:) :) :)
They, therefore, know how to make lovely babes.
These are photos I made in an ordinary-everyday bar.
