Seriously though I do like the Phora, even though my impression that there's a substantial WN sentiment here.

But please knock this shit off. Telling such childish lies just makes you look silly. For whatever reason you shut down Speakeasy...the fact remains that you're the one who shut down Speakeasy. (Not the ISP, not the Canadian gov't., and not the tooth fairy.) And if you've any real interest in making this "new forum" a success that's something you're going to have to address. As in, are you going to get bored with the place and flush all the posts without warning? Concoct some nutty story about getting shot by NATO?

It's amazing that I shut down the forum while being two weeks into a four week vacation, on an island without internet access. I guess I did it telekinetically.

I paid the forum up for a year in March of 2007 because there were billing issues prior when I was paying month to month with a credit card. The forum was shut down on us in the summer.

Both Sarah and O'Zeb, the two individuals closest to the inner workings of the forum know what happened, but others chose to weave a conspiracy theory because they were butthurt that changes were in the making for the forum and that they wouldn't be included. Just because Invision said that they didn't shut us down doesn't make it true. Corporations don't always tell the truth.

Believe what you will, I really don't give a fuck one way or another. I've explained myself time and again, but people choose to believe otherwise for their own purposes.

No. Vodka Soda is being moved to its own domain (purchased last week). Just nailing down contributors for the time being......
