COPS raided Donald Reynolds’ shop — and seized three GOLLIES on display in his window.

Stunned Donald, 53, is being investigated over the “racially offensive” black dolls and could face prosecution.

Police rang on a Sunday saying there had been “an incident” at his premises.

Fearing a break-in, he dashed to the shop — but was told there had been a complaint about the gollies.

Donald said: “I thought it was a joke but the officer loaded them in his car.

“I’m furious. It’s political correctness gone mad. I’m not racist, just trying to make a living.”

Donald had stocked up with several hundred gollies along with other gift items to sell in his hardware shop in Bromyard, Herefordshire.

Dozens of the gollies were snapped up in weeks.

Members of a certain age who grew up in Britain or its dominions will recall that Robertson's, the famous Scottish jam and marmalade producer had its very successful Golly Club. I think probably most British kids were in it at one time or another. As I recall you had to save up the golly pictures that appeared on the jam-jar label, then send them in Robertson's in exchange for a nifty enamel Golly badge that you'd then proudly attach to your school uniform. Some avid collectors had quite a few, there being many different styles of Golly badge to choose from.

I think Robertson's managed to hold the fort on this until sometimes during the 1970s, at which point the forces of PC beat them into submission.

Racially offensive dolls. LOL. aren't nigs also always complaining about how there needs to be more black dolls for their kids to play with? I would like to hear the exact nature of the complaints. That would be quite amusing I am sure.
