My first post about this seems to have been deleted, possibly due to the presence of an “offensive” image in the link I provided. I am therefore omitting the link from this second thread.
But I am deadly serious about this. There is a sexual movement in the United States, however small, that centers around the domination of white wives by black men and the subsequent demasculanizing of their white husbands by their black “masters,” either simply by forced sexual abstinence, or in certain extreme cases outright castration. The movement is widely known as the “cuckold” or “swingers” culture. There is a good deal of pornography circulating around the internet depicting these kinds of situations. Needless to say, I take this all to be rather grave.
I am interested in the intersection between racial politics and pornography, which (like it or not) both shapes and reflects the sexual conceptions of American youth. I would like to see some discussion about this- especially since the arrangement described above seems to be entered into rather freely by some white males, who see it as a source of erotic excitement. In fact, there is apparently some reason to suspect that this kind of pornography is mostly consumed by white males:
“In addition, and ironically, according to unconfirmed anecdotes from employees at adult video stores, "interracial" (black male/white female) pornography is most often bought by white men, and relatively seldom by black men or white women.”
(Although this is hardly real evidence towards that notion, and comes from wikipedia of all places; but it’s interesting to theorize nonetheless)
