As many of you are no doubt aware, the Phora experienced a period of downtime lasting approximately 8 hours today. Though I was not aware of it until it had entered it's 7th hour, it appears the fault was related to an upgrade by our service provider, who notified us via email several days ago that

will be undergo a migration to new hardware at approximately
11PM MST Monday June 29th
We expect the downtime for the account to be 1-2 hours, but could be
completed long before that window. DNS issues including DNS propagation
will not be an issue with these migrations as all the IPs from the
original server will be moved to the new server as part of the migration.
This upgrade should greatly increase performance for your account.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Unfortunately it appears that this issue has affected the forum long beyond the prescribed window of interference. As the problem did not rectify itself as a result of any action by the Phora staff we assume that the recent outage was due to circumstances beyond our control. The Phora staff apologizes for any inconvenience suffered.
