Who's paying for this, and how can I send a few bucks on the rare occasion that I think about it?

Not to be too aloof, but regarding who takes care of the expenses here I can only say that it is a small group of friends. In respect to their privacy, if they wish to identify themselves as individuals that's up to them. I proudly count myself among thier ranks.

Regarding monetary donations, this really isn't necessary, since making insightful, enlightening or otherwise entertaining posts is contribution enough. :)
