This actually sounds quite amusing. It's a bit early for April 1st, so I'm guessing it's real. Anybody watch it?

Superhuman stereotypes fight racism

Daily Telegraph 24/03/2006

A cartoon that lampoons stereotypes, including grasping Jews, Mexican gardeners and aggressive blacks, in a drive to counter racism has become a new hit on American television.

Minoriteam, which was first aired nationally on the Cartoon Network in the peak-time Sunday evening slot, features a band of Marvel Comic-type heroes. Each is characterised with the supposed flaws and attributes of their race, which are exaggerated to a ludicrous degree to send up the bigotry of those who believe in the clichés.

The heroes use these characteristics to defeat their arch enemy, racism, as represented by an evil mastermind, White Shadow.

Dr Wang, the leader of Minoriteam, is an Asian maths genius with a freakishly huge brain, who is in the laundry business. His sidekick is Dave Raj, an Indian also known as Non-Stop for the extraordinarily long hours he works in a newsagent's shop. After being shot 235 times by burglars, his skin is saturated with lead and has become bulletproof.

Landon K Dutton is a black man teaching women's studies at Male University, who turns into Fasto, the world's fastest man. Fasto is capable of extreme rage and has enormous sexual capacity. In one episode he satisfies a roomful of Thai prostitutes in seconds.

The hardest-working member of the team is El Jefe, a Mexican in a giant sombrero who uses a leaf blower as his magic weapon, ridiculing the popularity of Mexican immigrants as gardeners. Only one thing can stop El Jefe - his own personal Kryptonite, tequila.

The final hero is Neil Horvitz, a wimpish postal clerk in his early 20s, who changes into the unlikely figure of Jewcano, a muscle-bound 62-year-old. He becomes aroused only when he starts chasing a glowing nickel.

Ha, one of my friends since the 2nd grade did some of the ink on that show. I saw the pilot, it's basically absurdist in the vein of the typical Adult Swim cartoon (Sealab 2021, Aqua Teeen Hunger Force, et al.). It's funny but doesn't make any particular sense. Absurdist.
