I managed to PM one of the top moderators there, lei.talk, about this two or three days ago, he said he was unaware of any plan to shut down the forum and the reason most forum links were re-directing to the main page (blog) was because of some problems relating to the new format for the new blog. I wish I could quote directly from him but now it seems everything is down, so I cant even see the PM anymore (two days ago some of the internal pages including Private Messages had been accessible)

You're confused.

Slavic is a language type, nordic is a phenotype, they're not mutally exclusive. Most slavs aren't nordic, but neither are most northwest europeans either.

Anyways, 'nordic' shouldn't be mistaken for 'nordish' or vice-versa, as 'nordish' is a broader category than 'nordic'.

If I had to guess I would say that Loki has come to the conclusion that in order for his site to have an impact and not be marginalized, it cant be associated with racism, so he closed down the forum because it had so many "racist" posts and threads, including more than a few from Loki himself. This seems to be be corroborated by his blog posts (the only thing still accessible on the site), which are quite moderate, so much so that nothing about race is even in them (that I've seen), it is all about Islam and the West. But why he would leave his moderators in the dark about the forum shut-down, that really doesn't make sense
